Ever since I was little, I’ve love three things: photography, music, and vintage items. The photography might be an obvious one but I can still remember looking through my grandmother’s old photo albums as a little girl. The obsession came early on for me and I’m so lucky to have made that into my career.

My love for music comes from my pap. I have such fond memories of listening to old country records while sitting on his lap. In fact, you might not know that I still love to sing and can play the ukulele.

As for my love of vintage items, that also came from my grandmother. I remember playing dress up in her 50’s dresses and feeling like there was something so special about them. When I first laid my eyes on a vintage VW bus, I fell hard! The vintage style was so adorable and I have wanted one ever since.

While I’m still hoping to buy one of my own, I found out about the CDA Photo Bus and met owner Nicole. This year, instead of doing fall mini sessions, I decided to do sessions with this retro VW bus.

I was even able to get my own family involved which was such a blast! It’s always a little different for the photographer to be on this end of the camera but I love when I’m able to get photos with my family. Having the VW bus made it extra special too.
