Sweet Emmy takes a milk bath

In celebration of turning one-year old, we did a milk bath photoshoot in Spokane with baby Emmy. Milk baths are some of my favorite things to do. It’s fun for the baby to play in the milk but it also photographs beautiful with an additional sweet element to it.

For Emmy, we really wanted to focus on the feminine elements and incorporating little touches of pink throughout. I always love bright, white photos but having that minor addition of color really helps it stand out in a fun, girlie way.

I can’t get over Emmy’s adorable expressions. She has the prettiest eyes and those classic rosy cheeks that make babies so adorable. She was really fixated on the camera too, even though she sometimes just wanted to play with the leaves in the milk bath.

It will be so fun to look back at these photos in the future. As Emmy grows up, her parents will have these to look back on and see how this cute face grows and changes. Along with the milk bath, we did some photos in this lace shirt with a flower crown.

Emmy’s smile here is so adorable! She was a pleasure to work with and made the job an easy one.
