Welcoming Rainbow Baby Sterling

I love doing newborn photoshoots, but it’s especially great when there’s a touching story behind it. This special newborn, Sterling, is a rainbow baby! If you’re not sure what that means, it means that Sterling was welcomed into the world after a miscarriage or loss.

It’s such a joyous thing when a rainbow baby enters the world and I’m so glad to be able to document it. We even included a little rainbow in the photos to acknowledge how special Sterling is for this family.

Sterling’s mom, Holly, has been a long-time follower on my Instagram. She knew she wanted to do some photos together for awhile. When she welcomed Sterling into the world, we were both so excited to do her newborn photos.

We also got to incorporated lavender (a color I obviously love) into the photoshoot.

Sterling has two big sisters: Emma (16) and Kylie (14) who absolutely adore her. She has been welcomed with so much excitement and love from her whole family. We were able to have Emma and Kylie join the newborn photoshoot which really showed how sweet this whole family is together.

Congratulations to Holly and her entire family for welcoming Sterling into the world.
